I can install the basic principles of public speaking and presentation skills by using stand-up comedy as a training tool. This is achieved by demystifying stand-up, removing the fear of live performance and introducing a way for everyone to write funny lines, subconsciously.
The guidelines that apply to stand-up comedy mirror those needed for public presentations and speeches. In many ways speeches and presentations have built in safe guards such as; auto-scripts, lectern notes and power-point. Having gained the confidence to speak unaided, the rest will seem like a piece of cake (any flavour).

Being at ease with using humour in everyday life, will transform not only a person’s public speaking skills but will also enhance their confidence and skills in all social interaction, whether at work or elsewhere. As confidence grows the creative juices will flow and each person will see a vastly improved success rate in their speeches, presentations, sales pitches, emails, telephone calls, meetings and networking; adding enormous value to any business or organisation.
