The first of its kind, based wholly in the North of England, the organisation specialises in comedy management
representing the finest comedy talent in the region and beyond. Its roster

The company has vast experience in producing television, radio and live
comedy events.
About Ashley Boroda:
Ashley Boroda has played a part in the entertainment industry since
starting out as an assistant agent in 1990. Progressing to having his
own list, he decided to turn his back on the agency in 1995 as his desire
to launch new untapped comedy talent was not shared by his paymasters
or the television and radio industry as a whole. Quite rightly, who
would want to work with the likes of Jon Culshaw, Mel and Sue and Rob
Brydon? That lot will never amount to anything!
Ashley then moved into radio production, comedy writing, stand-up, television
and then back to representing exciting new talent with the establishment
of Ashley Boroda Entertainment in 2005.
Radio credits include: writing, producing and creating 'The Scoop' for
Radio Five Live for Kevin Day, producing and devising 'The Hislop Vote'
for Radio 2 writing and directing 'The Other Side' for GLR, writer for
'Dead Ringers' Radio 4, writing and co-producing 'Sick as a Parrot'
for Radio Five Live and a guest presenter on 'Under the Floodlights'
on TalkSport.
Television includes: two series of Channel 4 stand up series 'Gas',
'Light Lunch', 'Fantasy World Cup', 'Patrick Keilty Almost Live' and
'The World at Their Feet' a football related Disney Time for BBC One.
After working on an array of television and radio productions in London,
Belfast and Glasgow, and spending two years performing stand-up on the
London circuit, Ashley moved to Manchester to work for the BBC Entertainment
and Features department where he developed the documentary series “When…..Ruled
the World”.
Latterly he was involved in the production of the 'When…Ruled
the World', series, and after producing a big budget entertainment pilot
which never saw the light of day, he moved to the Red Production Company.
